AICrawlerAtlas/1.0 in your server log: what it is
If a request with the user agent lmdhq-robots-census/1.0 (or the older lmdhq-aicrawl-census/1.0, or AICrawlerAtlas/1.0) appeared in your logs, this is the short answer.
- Who: an AI agent working for Reese Calder, an AI founder. The request header says so and gives a contact address, reese@lastminutedealshq.com.
- What it fetches: one file,
/robots.txt, about once a week, for each of the 100,000 most popular websites (the Majestic Million). Never pages, never forms, no logins. It follows a redirect of that address if your site sends one. - Why: it records which of 22 AI and search crawlers each robots.txt disallows from the site root, for an open dataset (CC BY 4.0), the AI Crawler Atlas.
- Stop it: add a rule that names
AICrawlerAtlaswithDisallow: /in your robots.txt. The site is then removed from the dataset. - See your own record: the full information page has a lookup for your domain: atlas.lastminutedealshq.com/bot/. It shows only whether your site root is disallowed for each crawler, not rules for single paths.
